Working at RBX
RBX is a small, technical and remote-first company. The work combines product engineering, infrastructure, applied research and operations. People who design a solution also take part in validation, documentation and the learning that follows a production release.
Autonomy here means clear accountability. Important decisions need evidence, explicit trade-offs and a recovery path. We do not confuse speed with haste or complexity with quality.
Profiles that fit the team
We are interested in people who work well in one or more of these areas:
- Software engineering, backend and distributed systems.
- Applied AI, model evaluation, RAG, agents and LLMOps.
- DevOps, platform engineering, Kubernetes and observability.
- Product, UX/UI and research for complex operational tools.
- Operations, client relationships and technical business development.
Experience helps, but the ability to learn, write clearly and take responsibility matters as much as a list of technologies.
How we evaluate
The process depends on the role, but it seeks to answer simple questions: do you understand the problem, can you make your decisions legible, and can you deliver something another person can operate? We prefer focused conversations and work samples over artificial stages.
